About IntelliReply

Clear guidance for everyday consumer questions

IntelliReply is an independent educational publication. We write practical, plain-English guides that help people recognize scams, protect their personal information and understand their rights as consumers.

Our mission

A calm, accurate answer within a few minutes

Consumer protection information is often scattered across agencies, written in legal language or buried under sales pitches. Yet people usually need it at a stressful moment: a strange text has just arrived, a charge looks wrong, or a letter mentions an account they never opened.

Our mission is simple. When something does not feel right, you should be able to find a calm, accurate explanation and a clear next step without wading through jargon or being sold anything. We write for the careful, busy person who wants to understand what is happening and handle it well.

Editorial standards

The rules we write by

Trust is earned slowly. These standards apply to every page we publish.

  1. Accuracy first

Every factual statement, especially deadlines, dollar amounts and time limits, is checked against the law, rule or official guidance it comes from.

  2. Plain, precise language

We write in everyday English without oversimplifying. Where the rules have exceptions or depend on your state, we say so.

  3. No promises, no pressure

We never promise outcomes, approvals or amounts, and we do not use scare tactics or false urgency to keep you reading.

  4. Independence

Our guides do not recommend specific financial products or companies. We link only to official resources, and only where they genuinely help.

  5. Honest about limits

General information cannot replace advice about your specific situation. When you need a professional or an agency, we point you there.

Review process

How content is reviewed and kept current

Consumer rules change, and scams change faster. Each guide goes through the same process before it is published, and again whenever it is revised.

  1. Research

We start from statutes, regulations and the consumer guidance published by the agencies responsible for each topic.

  2. Write and verify

Drafts are written for clarity, then every specific claim is checked against its source before publication.

  3. Review on a schedule

Guides are re-reviewed at least once a year, and sooner when a relevant rule or common scam pattern changes.

  4. Correct and date

Corrections are made promptly, and the “updated” date on each guide shows when it was last revised.
